Skegness Beach Race 2011

Beach Race 12th & 13th November 2011 on Skegness Beach

Following on from the sucess of the 2010 beach race. More than 300 competitors will arrive in Skegness this November for the town's second motocross beach race.

The Amateur Motor Cycle Association (AMCA) has again been granted permission by East Lindsey District Council to hold the event on Saturday and Sunday 12 and 13 November - and it promises thrills and spills as riders encounter jumps, straights, chicanes and other features made from natural sand.

Vist AMCA website for more information.

And best of all, spectators get to see all the action free of charge.
Skegness Motorcross Beach Race AMCA 2010 The AMCA has been organising off road events since 1932. It hopes that this one will not only provide first-class entertainment for riders and spectators but also generate extra business for Skegness in its out-of-season period.

Similar races have been successful at Weston Super Mare and Weymouth.

Organisers are working closely with East Lindsey District Council and the East Lindsey Event Safety Advisory Group to ensure that this event can be held in a manner that compliments the town, supports local residents and brings people to Skegness in a safe and responsible manner.

See you there!
